Father's Day Weekend

We finally made to our neighboohood pool
Jacqueline had a great time swimming with Dada
Vivian enjoyed splashing in the kiddy pool
A little snack before heading home. It was about to storm. Everyone was quickly leaving the pool
This is how the sky looked like (plus a very strong windy) before the storm
Kyle opening his gift on father's day
I love when I can surprise him!
I got him a spiritual journal and made prints of the girls hands and feet in it
After the girls nap, we played outside
 Vovo and Pa joined us

 That's not nice, Bob!

 Mischevious look

I made dinner and here is the "guest of honor"--filet mignon! It was my very first time cooking filet and it turned pretty good! I used a marinad erecipe I found online (very easy--red wine, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper)
 Delish, delish!
One last picture with Dada. Now it's time for bed!

His Day

He proudly held her when she was born
He was all smiles when she was born
He takes his role as a father very serious and in style!
 He is a fun Daddy
 She makes him exausted
 She brings him joy
 She keeps him in shape
His heart is not big enough for the amount of love he has for her
One day he will walk her down the aile with a teary eye

He is an amazing Dad. They are too little to realize how blessed and fortunate they are to be able to call him "Dada". Their little minds can't yet comprehend that his love is a glimpse of our Heavenly Father's love to us.

Thank you, Sweetness, for been an example of what a Father suppose to be for our girls! You're a wonderful Dad!

Love you!!! (most)

Father of 2

My husband being "meaty"

Yesterday was Father's Day. We didn't do much since Jacqueline and I are sick. We skipped church and stayed around the house much of the day. Took the girls to the park, ate Dim Sum for lunch and had ice cream later on in the day--of course, we watched Brazil beat Ivory Coast too!

Jacqueline running wild

And Vivian enjoying a nap as usual! The unbearable heat didn't seem to bother her.
Jacqueline and Vivian are not yet aware of how blessed they are for having Kyle as their father. I enjoy watching him loving on them. He plays on the floor with Jacqueline. She looks so happy and I love hearing her belly laugh as her Daddy horses around with her. She trust him to launch her up in the air. She is so trusting. He holds Vivian with his big strong hands and lays her on his chest. She looks so peaceful and secure. Trust and security now come naturally...in a few years during teenager years and adulthood, they will crave it. They will receive that from him. No doubt. He is a Daddy who will always be there to hold them when they feel like crying. He is a Daddy who will give then words of encouragement when they think they can't do it. He is Daddy who will love them when they think they are unlovable. Jacqueline and Vivian, God has blessed you with the most amazing Dad!!!

Happy Father's Day to you my sweet husband!
